During the world premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine in New York City on Monday, Reynolds casually disclosed the name while expressing gratitude to his family. “I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here,” he mentioned, surprising fans and media alike.

Olin was born in early 2023, and the couple managed to keep the name under wraps for over a year. Fans only realized Blake had given birth when she posted an Instagram photo in February 2023, where she appeared without a baby bump. Her caption, “been busy,” hinted at the arrival of their fourth child without revealing much detail.

The couple’s older children—James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4—have all been part of the public conversation, especially with Betty’s name being revealed through family friend Taylor Swift’s 2020 song ‘Betty’ from her Folklore album. Reynolds didn’t miss a chance to infuse humour into the situation. In a recent interview about Deadpool & Wolverine, his co-star Hugh Jackman joked to E! News that Taylor Swift was the Lively-Reynolds family nanny. Reynolds playfully responded, “The cost of that is… I believe the accountant said, ‘Cost-prohibitive.’ But I think what he meant was, ‘Cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I’m-no-longer-your-accountant.'”
