In an interview with Hindustan Times, Saif Ali Khan shared, “I do have the Instagram app, and a secret account, too. I browse sometimes, but don’t enjoy it much. And every time I browse it for a little while, I keep promising to delete it and I end up not deleting it.”

The Adipurush actor has been vocal about his stance on social media. Saif Ali Khan’s decision to stay off prominent platforms is not driven by a desire to build an online persona or share his daily life. Instead, it stems from his skepticism about the value of these platforms. 

He explained, “I don’t want to get stuck in a position where I have to post other people’s things. I really enjoy the fact that nobody is really interested in asking me to promote something because they know that I’m not on social media. So, I get a lot of peace and quiet.”

Saif acknowledges the addictive nature of social media, describing it as “distracting and absorbing.” Despite having an account, he warns that one should not expect him to be active or fully engaged with it. He appreciates the power social media holds, offering a platform to express and communicate with anyone, yet he remains cautious of its potential to become all-consuming.

Speaking of the professional front, Saif is all set to headline Jewel Thief, an upcoming Siddharth Anand film. He recently wrapped shooting for it. Besides this, he also has Devara Part 1 in his kitty.
