After the doctor called Samantha ‘medically illiterate’, the actress responded in a long post asking the doctor to be ‘polite’ which has further fuelled up the issue. The Indian badminton player took to X, aka Twitter, to question the credibility of an actor to prescribe medical solutions. She wrote, “My only question to the celeb who’s prescribing a medicine to the huge number of people who are following her…I understand the intention is to help…. But…just in case..just in case the prescription doesn’t help and causes a fatality…will u be taking the RESPONSIBILITY too????? Will the doctor who you have tagged also take the RESPONSIBILITY??

Rahul Ravindran questioned ‘The Liver Doc’ asking him the reason behind not having a debate with the doctor who prescribed these solutions to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. “Dear Doctor, it would have been really nice if you had invited the Doctor she had tagged in her same post to a debate and engaged with him. We would have all learned a lot from it. Would have helped us make up our minds about this alternate therapy.” He further supported the actress by asserting that she would have done her research well before committing to a treatment.

Grammy Winner Ricky Kej shares his two cents on the matter
Samantha Ruth Prabhu penned a long note in response to the accusations and jibes thrown towards her by the Liver Doc. Commenting on the same, Ricky Kej said, “Get well soon! You have gone through a lot, and deserve to be well. About medical advice, it would be best not shared by non-medical professionals especially celebs with influence, More-so since you also endorse processed foods for pets, and sugary unhealthy foods. While we understand that this is done for the money, It is natural that there will be suspicion about everything that you praise. And when you speak in favor of treatments that could be life-threatening, this is treading into very very dangerous territory.. especially treatments that have not gone through clinical trials and peer reviewed systems, etc. So the Doctor who attacked you (I cannot see his comments) may have been rude, but he was not completely wrong. One cannot play with people’s lives with advice, which is half-baked. Especially people with huge influence. It is not the responsibility of the said Doctor to get in touch with yours. He will rightly respond to you, since you are the one advocating the treatment.”
