Sanjay Dutt has withdrawn from the highly anticipated comedy film Welcome 3, citing creative differences and scheduling conflicts. According to sources, Dutt was unhappy with the frequent script changes and the unplanned shoot schedule, which clashed with his other commitments.

Dutt had already completed 15 days of filming before his exit, leaving the producers with a dilemma. They are now considering either re-shooting his scenes or incorporating his character’s departure into the storyline.

Welcome 3 boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, and others. Despite Dutt’s departure, the film is still slated for a grand theatrical release on December 20, 2024.

Director Ahmed Khan and producer Firoz A. Nadiadwallah are working to resolve the issues and ensure a smooth completion of the film. Shreyas Talpade, who plays a significant role in the movie, has described the plot as a hilarious and entertaining story about a group of individuals coming together to pull off a daring stunt.

The first glimpse of Welcome 3 generated immense buzz due to its stellar cast and fresh storyline, deviating from the previous two films. The producers are determined to deliver a laugh-out-loud comedy that will meet the audience’s high expectations.
