Hansal Mehta, the creative force behind the globally appreciated Scam series is back with another instalment. The third chapter of their groundbreaking franchise is based on the book Sahara: the Untold Story by Tamal Bandyopadhyay and is titled Scam 2010 – The Subrata Roy Saga.

Scam 2010 narrates the diamonds-to-dust journey of Subrata Roy. Amidst allegations of chit-fund irregularities and fabricated investors in the early 2000s, Subrata’s once-glamorous image took a hit, leading to his arrest in 2014. Despite approximately 25,000 crore rupees lying unclaimed with government authorities, the consequences of the Scam continue to cast a shadow even today.

No details regarding the actors and release date have been revealed however, keeping in mind the number of fans the show has, the announcement of the new edition is enough to create a buzz.
