And after three years of their marital bliss, the couple is all set to welcome their first child into the world. It was on September 15, 2024, when Shraddha announced her pregnancy and let the world know that she and her husband are expecting a little miracle. And now, she opened up about the current phase of her life along with her husband’s reaction when he got to know about the ‘good news’.

Shraddha Arya shares how her husband, Rahul reacted when she broke the news about her pregnancy

In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Shraddha Arya revealed how she broke the news of her pregnancy to her husband, Rahul. Shraddha shared that she broke the news over the phone at 6 in the morning. Rahul, who was busy in a work meeting then, asked Shraddha if anything was urgent, and as soon as the actress shared the news, there was silence. The mom-to-be added that although they were not there with each other physically, they shared that moment, and her husband kept saying that he wished to hug her, when she gave him the news. Shraddha said:

“There was silence on the call for a bit and then he immediately excused himself from everyone and asked me to repeat what I just said. His joy and excitement was palpable even over the phone. He kept saying how he wished he was there to hug me. Even though we were miles apart, it felt like we shared that moment together. We both got extremely happy and emotional.”

Shraddha Arya talks about her preparations for becoming a mom soon

Talking about her health, the mom-to-be, Shraddha Arya revealed that she is keeping in check that her physical and mental health are all good. When asked about which trimester she is in, Shraddha added that she’s in a ‘happy trimester’. Sharing how she and her husband are busy nesting for their to-be-born-baby, Shraddha remarked that she and Rahul have been doing a lot of research and reading books, and she also has been taking prenatal yoga classes. Shraddha added:

“We’ve been doing a lot of research, reading books, etc. I’m taking prenatal yoga classes as well. But, we also remind ourselves that no amount of preparation will make everything perfect, so we’re learning to go with the flow too.”

Shraddha Arya reveals her excitement over her first pregnancy

In the concluding segment of the interview, Shraddha Arya revealed that she wouldn’t want to lose her passion even after becoming a mom, as she has always admired those moms who juggle their personal and professional lives. Talking about her excitement, Shraddha remarked that she wants to witness how motherhood would change her, as well as her baby’s first smile, first steps, and everything that will come along. Shraddha mentioned:

“I can’t wait to experience all the firsts—the first smile, first laugh, and first steps. I’m also excited to see how being a mother will change me. I know it’s going to be challenging, but I’m ready for the love and growth that comes with it.”

On the beach, the mom-to-be used props, like a mirror, her pregnancy kit with its positive result, and a photocopy of her baby ultrasound, and all of it looked magical. Shraddha was seen flaunting her baby bump and dancing with her husband.
