‘I miss Vasu!!!! My character from the @lionsgateplayin show #hiccupsandhookups was one of the most honest characters I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. She was flawed, vulnerable, confused, alive, waiting to love and be loved and just so real!!! So rare, as a female actor in your 40s to be offered a role that shines the spotlight on women at that age and stage of life!
‘We just don’t see, hear and engage with that demograph enough on the entertainment screen without pandering to the archaic tropes of how women post the age of 30 are perceived!
