Popular actress, Sreejita De has been enjoying every bit of her marital bliss with her husband, Michael Blohm-Pape. For the unversed, the lovebirds got legally bonded with each other in a Christian white wedding in Germany on July 1, 2023. Ahead of that, they had a court wedding on June 30, 2023. Since then, they never missed celebrating any festival together, and kept blessing our feeds with their mushy moments.

Now, on March 26, 2024, eight months after their wedding, Sreejita De and her husband, Michael Blohm-Pape hosted an intimate wedding reception in Kolkata. Soon after the event, they took to their respective IG handle and dropped some lovely photos collaboratively. For the function, the actress looked pretty in a red-hued embellished lehenga choli with gold jewellery. She completed her look with glam makeup, including red lipstick and a bindi, along with a middle-parted neatly combed bun hairdo. On the other hand, Michael opted for a black tuxedo with a red t-shirt underneath. Sharing the photos collaboratively, they wrote:
“A union of hearts, a celebration of love, and a lifetime of memories in the making.”

Sreejita De once revealed how she was anxious ahead of her wedding with Michael Blohm-Pape
In an old interview with ETimes, Sreejita opened up about her surreal wedding with Michael in Germany. Talking about the same, the actress shared that although every moment of their wedding was completely magical, she felt a bit nervous. Not only Sreejita but according to her Michael was also totally anxious before their wedding day. Nevertheless, they could fully enjoy their marriage day. In her words:
“We were stressed and we both were all over the place. Our family was continuously saying just relax, it is your wedding, but it was not possible there were so many thoughts about the arrangements. We couldn’t relax much. I started feeling the excitement 2-3 days ahead of the wedding, the legal wedding day. June 30th, since morning I started feeling butterflies in my stomach.”
Sreejita revealed how Michael himself wrote the vows for their marriage
In the same interview, Sreejita spoke at length about the special moments of her wedding. She mentioned how Michael penned down the wedding vows himself, and thus, each line of the same was extremely meaningful for the couple. However, while reciting them, she was quite emotional and could feel his voice shaking and tears swelling up in her eyes. Sreejita added:
“He wrote the vows for me and he stood up saying the vows and I could feel that his voice started shaking and he had tears in his eyes. That was a very intimate and close moment. I still absolutely remember everything that he said line to line.”

Sreejita calls her court wedding special and memorable
In another segment of the interview, Sreejita also recalled a memorable moment from her court wedding with Michael in Germany. She revealed that the moment was simply surreal when she signed her name on the registry and added her husband’s surname to it. The doting wifey also recalled how she spotted her then-beau now-husband getting a bit teary-eyed at the time.
