Director SS Rajamouli and his son SS Karthikeya reportedly survived an earthquake in Japan on Thursday. Karthikeya shared an update on his social media handle.

Taking to X, SS Karthikeya shared a snap of his smartwatch with an earthquake warning. Opening up about his experience, he wrote, “Felt a freaking earthquake in Japan just now!!! Was on the 28th floor and slowly the ground started to move and took us a while to realise it was an earthquake. I was just about to panic but all the Japanese around did not budge as if it just started to rain!! Experience an earthquake box ticked.”

SS Rajamouli had shared snaps from his time in Japan where a special screening of his hit film RRR was held. More recently, he met anime experts Rui Kuroki-san and Zuto Nakazawa. He shared a snap of their meeting. 

On the work front, SS Rajamouli is gearing up for his next, Superstar Mahesh Babu. The film is expected to be an adventure thriller.
