The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.04% lower by 9.50 points at 22,909 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a muted start on Friday.
On Thursday, 6 June, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex soared 692 points, or 0.93%, to end at 75,075 while the Nifty50 traded 201 points or 0.89% higher and settled at 22,821.

Rail Vikas Nigam: The company has secured a contract worth Rs 495 crore from NTPC for a Project Execution Agency (PEA) contract for the execution of Balance Civil & HM works of Barrage Complex, including part HRT package of Rammam Hydro Electric Project Stage-III (3×40 MW).
ITC: The shareholders of the company have approved the demerger of its hotels business with a 99.59% votes in favour of the demerger plan.
Hero MotoCorp: The company has acquired an additional 2.2% stake in Ather Energy for a total consideration of Rs 124 crore, taking the total holding in the Bengaluru-based startup to 39.7% share.
Wipro: The company secured a $500 million deal from a US communication service provider.
PB Fintech: Market regulator, SEBI has issued a show cause notice to Yashish Dahiya, Chairperson and CEO of the company over a Duubai investment made in 2022.
Tata Chemicals: Tata Chemicals Europe, a subsidiary of the company, has been slapped with a £1.1 million fine from the Chester Crown Court in the UK for a safety incident in 2016, which resulted in a contractor’s injury and subsequent death.
