Thalapathy Vijay, who is currently riding high on the success of G.O.A.T, has signed on another massy entertainer that has definitely got his fans excited. While the hint was dropped on September 13, on Saturday, the makers KVN Productions made an official announcement about the film. The yet to be titled is currently being referred to as Thalapathy 69 and will be directed by H Vinoth with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

For the unversed, while this is the first collaboration of KVN Productions with Thalapathy Vijay, this one marks his final film since the actor has announced his dream to pursue his political aspirations by quitting the industry. The powerful tribute video of Thalapathy 69 along with the poster released by KVN Productions on the eve of this announcement has only fanned the flames of excitement.

Called as cinematic Goliath, Thalapathy 69 is set to explode onto celluloid in October 2025, in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, culminating three decades of unparalleled stardom. KVN Productions, in their first-ever pan-India venture, are expected to pull out all the stops to ensure this final chapter in Vijay’s illustrious career is nothing short of legendary.
At the helm of this monumental project is the visionary director H Vinoth and the musical landscape of this epic will be crafted by none other than the maestro Anirudh Ravichander, with an aim to make Thalapathy’s swan song resonate in hearts long after the credits roll. The production team includes co-producers Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith. N. K joining forces to bring this silver-screen mammoth to life, while producer Venkat K Narayana leads the charge, determined to make the film iconic.
