After the release of the intriguing trailer of Chiyaan Vikram starrer Thangalaan, everyone is eagerly waiting to see more from this historical fantasy drama. Amidst the building excitement, the makers recently announced the release of its first single which is titled ‘Murga Murgi’ in Hindi. The song, originally titled ‘Minikki Minikki’ in Tamil released in other languages too which includes Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu.

First single from Thangalaan is an absolute celebration song with fun vibes
On July 17, the makers took to their social media to release the first Hindi single, ‘Murga Murgi’ with a special post wherein they wrote, “Feels the celebration of souls from the world of #Thangalaan”. While Vikram fans are excited to see the superstar shaking his leg as he seems to be having a gala time with the villagers in the film, celebrating a special moment, he is also joined by the leading ladies Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan. With music composed by GV Prakash, the song, sung by Sinduri Vishal, seems to have a tribal touch with foot-tapping beats.
About Thangalaan
The film is based on true events that transpired in the Kolar Gold Fields aka KGF when the latter was discovered by the British who exploited and looted it for their own purpose. The film aims at bringing for the reality behind the KGF fields with a supernatural twist. Thangalaan, also featuring an ensemble supporting cast like Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Hari Krishnan Anbudurai, Vettai Muthukumar, Arjun Anbudan, and Sampath Ram, is written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. It is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 15, 2024, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
