Tom Wilkinson of Batman Begins and Rush Hour fame passes away at 75

Tom Wilkinson has been a two-time Oscar nominee and a BAFTA winner. He passed away suddenly at the age of 75 and is survived by his wife and family. He was nominated for the lead role in the 2001 release In The Bedroom and a supporting role in the 2007 release, Michael Clayton.

The agent’s statement read, “It is with great sadness that the family of Tom Wilkinson announce that he died suddenly at home on December 30. His wife and family were with him.”

His other memorable roles include the ones in the adaptations of Martin Chuzzlewit, a 1995 adaptation and Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. He also starred in Batman Begins and Rush Hour. The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel are a few of his other talked-about performances.
