Vikrant Massey sports a fierce look in The Sabarmati Report’s new poster

A new motion poster has been released of The Sabarmati Report showing Vikrant Massey in an intense look. In the poster, Vikrant can be seen sitting in front of a trash bin with a cigarette in his hand. A camera lies beside him along with a pile of books and papers which is lit on fire. Sharing the motion poster, the makers wrote, “Sach ko toh woh jala denge, par sawalon ka kya? #TheSabarmatiReport, in cinemas 15th November.”

Last week, the makers released the teaser of the film which showed Massey as a brave journalist trying to decode the Godhra incident that shook the nation in 2002. He is accompanied by Raashii Khanna in his mission and we also see a glimpse of Riddhi Dogra as a senior journalist.

The film is based on the Godhra train burning incident, one of the most harrowing incidents in India’s history. On the morning of February 27, 2002, a sudden fire broke out on the Sabarmati Express, killing 59 pilgrims and karsevaks who were returning from Ayodhya. While not much has been said or heard about this incident, The Sabarmati Report aims to lift the curtain and present what the nation has never seen. Helmed by Dheeraj Sarna, the film stars Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Riddhi Dogra. The film will be released in theatres on November 15, 2024.
