SRK is the epitome of success today in Bollywood. But behind the dazzling shine was a rough path of struggle he had travelled. He has also seen some flops after delivering back-to-back blockbusters. But SRK rose out of the ashes and delivered 100 crore superhits like Pathaan and Jawan.
Shah Rukh Khan tied the knot with his ladylove, Gauri Chibber, on October 25, 1991, in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, and in 2024, the duo completed 33 years of marital bliss. They have been dating each other since their college days. SRK, in many interviews, has spoken about how his wife, Gauri, constantly supported him during his struggling period. Since then, it has been a dreamy affair for both of them, and this couple has ruled Bollywood like the king and queen. “He is the best husband and father I could ever ask for. I always say that I am so fortunate to be with Shah Rukh Khan, the man.”

Shah Rukh’s take on maintaining work-life balance
The Jawan actor, Shah Rukh Khan once shared his perception of maintaining a peaceful family life amidst a busy career in the film industry. In an interview with Reddit, he said many actors come to Bollywood to earn money and fame but must prioritise their loved ones. He continued:
“I have a personal life. I have friends, a girlfriend, an uncle, an aunt, and a sister, and they are the most important people in my life. I am just trying to say that I do not much care for the frills that come along with this profession. I do not want to go astray and lose myself to this world like the others. I want to keep in touch with reality. I want to keep in touch with myself.”
Shah Rukh Khan slams stars who leave their families to pursue careers in Bollywood
There are many love stories in Bollywood which are left incomplete because of the quest for success. Several actors give up their loved ones for their bright careers in the film industry. The Badshah of Bollywood found it very crass and commented that if someone wants, he can manage his professional and personal life simultaneously. Speaking about the same, he said:
“And I really don’t understand this big sh*t about sacrificing this for my career and that for my career. I mean why can’t you have both? Why are you looking for excuses for your neglect towards your family or wife or girlfriend? And even if you have neglected your personal life for your professional one what makes you so proud of it? You have no right to hurt people who love you, and you tom-tom about it.”
King Khan slammed actors who ignored their girlfriends or wives after attaining great success and treated them like objects. Today, even after being a Bollywood superstar, he prioritises his family first, and there are several instances where his utmost love for his family is seen.
SRK is the perfect combination of a great family man and a shining star in Bollywood. What do you think? Let us know.
